1100 meters long and 90 meters above sea level, reaching speeds of up to 80km/h, a thrill for adventure seekers, adrenaline junkies and anyone wanting a jolly good time! The Worlds Longest Zipline Over the Ocean is located in the town of Mossel Bay in the Western Cape, South-Africa! Breathtaking views of the cliffs, caves, rocks and the occasional splash of a wave over the Zipline makes this a memorable experience while being attended to by the friendly and helpful crew!!

The Garden Route offers some of the most spectacular views and picturesque coastlines of South Africa.  Your instructor will guide you from take-off to landing and will ensure it is memorable experience.

Very varied walk with forest, mountain and beach. The first climb on your way back is quite steep with some loose rocks and so the path can be quite slippery. Works well on a windy day because in the forest, one hardly feels the wind at all. Amazing beach when you reach the bottom. Make sure to keep some water and snacks for the way back up.

Take notice of the diverse array of fungi and the vibrant fynbos vegetation that surrounds you. Keep an eye out for playful vervet monkeys frolicking in the treetops, and if luck is on your side, you may catch a glimpse of the elusive Knysna Loerie. The Black Elephant Trail conveniently traverses through both the Ysterhoutrug and King Edward VII picnic sites, adding to the scenic charm of your hike.

Big Tree Walk

Situated on the N2, just east of the entrance to Storms River Village, you’ll find the easily identifiable “Big Tree” with clear signage. A pleasant 500m wooden boardwalk guides you through the indigenous forest, leading you to the magnificent Yellowwood giant. The walk to the tree itself takes approximately 10 minutes. Impressive in age, the tree is estimated to be around 800 years old, towering at a height of 36.6 meters with an impressive circumference of nearly 9 meters. While primarily accessible by foot, special permission allows those with limited mobility to reach the tree by vehicle.

The trail within the reserve is flat, easy, and suitable for individuals of all ages, making it an excellent choice for both the young and old to explore and enjoy.

Whether you’re an avid trail runner or looking for a short hike, this trail offers a fantastic experience. The majority of the route takes you through the enchanting forest, and once you reach the Homtini River, the rewards are truly satisfying. Take your time to fully enjoy this beautiful spot. Cool off with a dip in the river and swim upstream to discover a small waterfall. Please note that there are entrance fees, and only 12 people are allowed at a time to maintain the tranquility of the area. To access the trail, make sure to obtain a permit from the access gate at the Goudveld Entrance boom.
